Compared to what Obama is spending on everything else, it's a drop in the
well. Uh - a really big drop in a ginormous well. From Fox News:
A group advocating for tighter immigration laws estimates that a hotly
debated bill that would give tens of thousands of illegal immigrants who
attend college or join the military a path to legal status would cost
taxpayers $6.2 billion a year and "crowd out" U.S. students in the
classroom.
A new report from the Center for Immigration Studies says the so-called
DREAM Act, which would give more than 2 million young immigrants brought to
the United States before the age of 16 a chance to become legal residents,
could erode the educational opportunities available to U.S. citizens.That's
the whole point, isn't it?
The report, "Estimating the Impact of the DREAM Act," comes as Rep. Steve
King, R-Iowa, seeks an analysis from the Congressional Budget Office of the
legislation's cost before there's a vote. King, who issued a letter
Wednesday afternoon to CBO, claims Senate Democrats are hiding an analysis
that shows the legislation will cost upwards of $20 billion.
The CIS says its $6.2 billion estimate is conservative and does not include
the "modest" number of illegal immigrants expected to attend private
institutions. The report assumes that most illegal immigrants would attend
state universities and community colleges schools where both funds and
slots are limited.
"These institutions where most of these kids can be expected to enroll are
in dire straits," Steven Camarota, director of research at the center who
authored the report, told FoxNews.com.
He calculated that 1.03 million illegal immigrants will enroll in public
institutions and receive a tuition subsidy from taxpayers of nearly $6,000
for each year of attendance for a total cost of $6.2 billion year – a
figure that doesn't include other forms of financial assistance that may be
provided.
The legislation needs to be funded at his baseline estimate of $6.2 billion
each year -- a move that he says Democrats are avoiding because it would
destroy support for the bill.Just like with ObamaCare, they're hiding the
facts. "We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it."

their naked breasts around. 1) It won't work because the country is already
beyond the tipping point and Muslim men will see the women as potential 8th
wives. 2) It's a campaign that almost all men will, er.. get behind. From

In Oklahoma, after voters passed a constitutional amendment banning
judges from using Sharia Law in their decisions by a whopping 70-30
supermajority, the Democrat AG of Oklahoma refused to defend the
amendment in court leading to this: Federal Judge blocks Oklahoma
constitutional amendment banning judges from using Sharia Law. Once again,
a tyrant in a black robe is robbing the free people of Oklahoma of their
10th amendment rights.
And uberliberal Leonard Pitts Jr is right there - as usual - to pile on.

We gather here today to mourn the loss of America's mind.
It was last seen last month in Oklahoma. There, voters gave emphatic
approval to a measure outlawing the use of Sharia law -- a strict and often
brutal interpretation of Islamic religious strictures -- in state courts.
Sharia is not known to be a problem in Oklahoma, or, for that matter,
anywhere else in the U.S., something even the bill's backers concede. But,
said the initiative's sponsor, then-Republican state Rep. Rex Duncan, why
wait?
Of course, by that reasoning, one can also justify laws regulating time
travel, flying cars and pink unicorns pooping in parks. Should we assume
Oklahoma legislators are hard at work on laws to restrict these and other
nonexistent troubles?Of course, Pitts is utterly ignorant of the world

Jersey Judge rules that a Muslim man's right to rape is a religious
freedom. What does Pitts think about that? According to him, such an action

an ignoramous. Also, Koran burner Derek Fenton was fired from his union job
at NJ Transit. And how about that idiot pastor in Florida that threatened
to burn Korans? He's being forced into bankruptcy: City of Gainesville FL
plans to bill idiot pastor $180,000+ for talking about burning Koran.
Minnesota is on its way to becoming fully Sharia-compliant:
A view of the slippery slope can be seen across the pond where in Britain,
it is now a hate crime to even WATCH the Koran getting burned. And Muslim
police officers don't have to protect Jews. A sign of things to come on

the most vulnerable among us. Here's the biblical reference that Franken
alludes to:

you?'
45 "He will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of

butchery of truly the least of these - the unborn. And 2) nowhere in the
Bible is it even implied that you should steal from someone else to help
the poor. It was a command given to individuals to give of themselves. Like

other people's money than his own. It's amusing sometimes to watch

The Bible does not differentiate between born and unborn babies. The same
Greek word is used for both. Pregnant women were all declared mothers no

Far more people are going to be offended by the removal of the tree than
the fact that it was there in th efirst place. But that doesn't matter to

to remove Christmas tree
Chase Bank told a businessman to remove the Christmas tree he donated to a
local branch because it could offend people.
Antonio Morales, owner of Bellagio Day Spa in Southlake, had assembled and
decorated a 9-foot-tall tree in the lobby of the Chase Bank branch at 1700
E. Southlake Boulevard as a favor to the branch manager, who is one of his
clients.
The tree remained in the lobby from the Monday before Thanksgiving until
Tuesday. Morales said his friend called him Wednesday to tell him the tree
had to go. She later showed him an e-mail from JPMorgan Chase saying that
the tree had to be removed because some people were offended by it.
...Greg Hassell, a JPMorgan Chase spokesman, said. that the company's
policy isn't anti-Christmas. "People wish their customers merry Christmas
when it's appropriate," he said.
However, to ensure that everyone who visits Chase branches feels welcome

"We appreciate the thoughtful gesture from Mr. Morales," Hassell
said. "Unfortunately, we're unable to keep it [the tree] on display for the
remainder of the holiday season." JPMorgan Chase ensures that decorations
are "something everyone is comfortable with, regardless of how they
celebrate the season," Hassell said.Ironically, JP Moragn Chase bank got a
whole lot of federal TARP bailout money. Christmas is a federal holiday.
Congress should thus force the bank to put up a Christmas tree in every

I always get a laugh when I see news of date-setters out there. These
people claim to know when Jesus will return. They are either ignorant of
scripture that they proclaim to have studied, or willfully put it out of
their minds. For instance:

nor the Son, but only the Father. 37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it
will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For in the days before the
flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage,

country. The November shellacking? India. The really bad unemployment
numbers yesterday? Afghanistan. And in Afghanistan, Obama decided to recite
a very ironic part of the Declaration of Independence:
One plus is that Obama mention the Creator, Whom he previously purposely
neglected. It's also ironic because Obama has as an Illinois Senator
defended infanticide where babies were born and then left to die in
soiled linen closets. He defended such barbarity with his vote not just
once but 4 times! He defended live born babies dying against their will
and thus violating that unalienable right to life that Obama trumpeted to
the troops in Afghanistan. The community organizer-in-chief with a
heart "bigger than any heart in the world" took this action on infanticide:
In 2002, as an Illinois legislator, Obama voted against the Induced
Infant Liability Act, which would have protected babies that survived
late-term abortions.
Obama voted against this bill in the Illinois senate and killed it in
committee. Twice, the Induced Infant Liability Act came up in the
Judiciary Committee on which he served. At its first reading he voted
"present." At the second he voted "no."
The bill was then referred to the senate's Health and Human Services
Committee, which Obama chaired after the Illinois Senate went Democratic
in 2003. As chairman, he never called the bill up for a vote.That last
part was a defacto "no" vote. More than the above is the personal account
of nurse Jill Stanek who witnessed surviving babies being left to die in
soiled linens (keep in mind that Obama is now "shocked and saddened" by gay
suicides):
Jill Stanek, a registered delivery-ward nurse who was the prime mover
behind the legislation after she witnessed aborted babies' being born
alive and left to die, testified twice before Obama in support of the
Induced Infant Liability Act bills. She also testified before the U.S.
Congress in support of the Born Alive Infant Protection Act.
Stanek told me her testimony "did not faze" Obama.
In the second hearing, Stanek said, "I brought pictures in and
presented them to the committee of very premature babies from my
neonatal resuscitation book from the American Pediatric Association,
trying to show them unwanted babies were being cast aside. Babies the same
age were being treated if they were wanted!"
"And those pictures didn't faze him [Obama] at all," she said.How does a
dying baby crying and screaming not faze a person? Does this man have a

instead going with contraceptive-only education that is proven
not to decrease pregnancy or abortionSigned a new budget including
taxpayer-funded abortions in Washington D.C.Is having the
Pentagon stock the morning after pill that prevents implantation of
an embryo, which is an abortion in the earliest stages of life Pushed
through bribes and threats the ObamaCare bill that bypassed
normal Congress procedure. It includes taxpayer abortion funding

Republicans? huh?). But in a bit of supreme irony, this same Jim McDermott
last year voted against putting our national motto on the Capitol Visitor
Center. From the memory hole:
...that motto is on every piece of currency in circulation. It is
interesting, however, that such an action (plus the Pledge of Allegiance,
supposedly with "under God" included) is being done in spite of a
supposed "separation of Church and State," which is a relatively new
philosophy foisted upon this country by judicial fiat some 70 years ago.
The vote in the U.S. House was 410-8. Here were the "nays" to H.Con.Res.
